On the International Earth Day ottod'Ame teams up with the Tuscan artist Simafra, co-founder of the Il Barbabosco farm, to protect bees from the risk of extinction. The result of this collaboration is the new SIMAFRA x ottod'Ame T-shirt, whose print reproduces the artist's exclusive painting inspired by the flight of bees.
One third of global food production depends on the pollination system of bees, which are at risk of extinction due to climate change and the increasing use of pesticides in agriculture, with serious consequences for the planet's biodiversity.
The collaboration with the Tuscan artist Simafra is aimed at the support and development of beekeeping: the entire proceeds from sales will be donated to the Il Barbabosco farm to increase the number of top bars, a special type of hive in which bees are able to produce honeycomb in a completely natural way.
